The Shropshire Star is giving one lucky couple the chance to win their dream wedding worth more than £14,000.
The circulation and promotions team have organised the competition which will see one lucky couple win a raft of prizes, backed by a host of local suppliers from the wedding sector.
The main prize is the use of Hawkstone Park, where the winning couple will have their civil ceremony and reception for up to 70-day guests.
An evening buffet for up to 100 guests will also be provided in a total package worth £5,900.
The other standout prizes include wedding photography valued at £1450, rings worth £1000, bridal wear, entertainment, floristry and wedding venue decoration.
In the first day, nearly 50 entries were submitted by couples looking to win their big day.
An article in Monday’s paper said: We have teamed up with Hawkstone Park Hotel – one of Shropshire’s most sought-after wedding venues – and an array of suppliers to provide everything you need for your special day without the hefty price tag.
From the venue, food and flowers to the dress, cake and rings – it’s all covered for you in this exciting prize.
